About Backerson
Year of Establishment
Born in the early 1990s, Backerson Electrical appliances limited with its product branded "Backerson" broke into the international market scenario with its maiden product Commercial Electric Catering Urn also known as Water Boilers.Registered and headquartered in the U.K with integrated and associated manufacturing facilities spread over the North America, EU, Malaysia & UAE to facilitate the arability of technically qualified components required for the production.
Our Debut Entry
It was a tale of hurdles and setbacks when confronted with global majors in the international arena, who controlled the market
enjoying appreciable market share. Countering stiff competition from all the marketplaces wherever it was launched, the brand
withstood the pressures after years of hardship to earn a nominal but firm entry into the market. The years that followed gave
the brand the much-needed brand image as the best in terms of quality, endurance and performance.
Expansion & Growth
Started with a humble beginning with a handful of workers but with proven academic records and experience, we enhanced
man and machinery to our production line through rhythmic synchronization. Today, Backerson stands as a pivotal entity in the
essential sectors of production, ensuring accuracy and quality, supported by a skilled workforce dedicated to producing
high-caliber products, all underpinned by robust research and development efforts.
Technical Advancement - Research & Development
In the 1990s, electric catering urns closely resembled to Backerson Regular models, featuring a stainless-steel container
equipped with a copper chrome-plated tubular heating element and variable temperature control (Simmerstat-control), along
with an overheat protector positioned beneath the heating element. These were entirely manual operated, as there were no
classified components available for electric catering urns due to their limited global market share. Very few manufacturers
produced these products in England and Australia, with Backerson entering the market by the early nineties.
In the mid-1990s, Backerson launched a semi-automatic electric catering urn called the Backerson Exclusive, which featured an
innovative heating element (a stainless steel flat top concealed heating element) along with a precisely calibrated capillary
thermostat. This product introduced the first-ever Auto-Boil-Auto-Cutoff-Auto-Restart system, complemented by a precise
temperature limiter known as Smarty Plus, which includes a manual reset option. These were the first significant changes made
to the traditional family of manually operated commercial electrical catering urns.
Backerson continued its research and development, launching the fully automatic, manually filled electric catering urn called
Backerson-Trendy-Electronic. This innovative design features a more efficient system that accurately monitors the boiling
temperature of the water while also managing the water level in the container. Once powered on, all operations are
automatically regulated. All components have been revamped, including the addition of a larger heating element in its range,
which increases the heating surface, leading to significant energy savings and addressing even minor user oversights. It is an
unparalleled addition to the Electric catering urn family.
As always, Backerson is excited to introduce the latest addition to the Backerson lineup: Backerson Excel NEO and Backerson
Excel NEOPLUS, showcasing the most innovative technology ever created, paving the way for maximizing versatility in a single
appliance for various functions. A Commercial Electric Catering Urn serves multiple purposes, such as boiling water, brewing
tea or coffee, preparing any beverages you prefer, warming soup, or heating any liquid food with its additional attachments.
Global Presence
With a customer base reaching around the world and a significant market presence, Backerson proudly offers a product line
that exceeds unique five variants of electric catering urns tailored to various segments of the global community.
